Welcome, Friends!
We’re so excited to formally introduce you to our new, Friends of the RRPL website! This project has been in the making for a long time, and will be resource for not only the Friends, but hopefully the community at large.

We’ve packed the site full of information critical to who the Friends are, what we do, our business partners, and how visitors can get involved. We’ve also made it easy for prospective members to join the Friends, and for current members to join meetings throughout the year.
While the site is accessible and ready for use, it will always remain a work-in-progress- something that will grow and evolve with the ever-changing needs of the Friends and the Library. Remember, this site is all of OURS. So please, crawl the site and if you notice any broken links or errors let us know so we can make it right. In the meantime:
01. The ‘Join’ Page

We’ve made it easy for Friends to Join or Renew their memberships by not only directly linking the join forms, but also by providing a clean breakdown of each of the membership types we offer & their associated member fees. Further down on the page, we offer details about how membership fees are reinvested & benefit the library.

02. The ‘Get Involved’ Page

Our Get Involved page features quick access to volunteer opportunities, opportunities to donate and forms for volunteers & members to join a committee.
03. Our ‘Meeting’ Page
(We especially love this one)

Gone are the days of scouring your inbox for the upcoming Friends meeting link, and gone are the days of searching high and low before asking a friend for a copy of our meeting documents. They’re all here!
Year-Round meeting dates and join links are available for you.
04. Our new, Friends blog!

Last, but certainly not least, our new Friends BLOG. This allows our newsletter articles to live more accessibly and in one location, rather than in webpages hidden in the depths of our emails. This year we’ll be featuring articles written by our new communications committee, and a few guest contributors as well!
If you have interest in writing for the FOL Blog, we’d love to connect with you. Reach out and I’ll be in touch.
Happy new year again, Friends. I hope you enjoy our new site.
