Let’s breakdown the buzz around the 30th Production of Mystery Night a Friends of the Round Rock Public Library fundraiser that’s positioned to support the RRPL Bookmobile.
A little backstory:

In 1989, Friend of the Round Rock Public Library member, Bonnie Horowitz, obtained a script from another library and kicked off the idea of the Mystery Night fundraiser. Funding initially supported the Summer Reading Program, but evolved to support the library’s growing needs. Mystery Night has become not only a fundraising opportunity, but treasured community activity and we’re thrilled for it to return for the first time in 6 years – now bigger than ever before!
What is Mystery Night?
Mystery Night is an audience participation murder mystery in three acts where you have the opportunity to play detective and solve the crime. This year, funding supports the Round Rock Public Library Bookmobile.
What’s the 2025 Mystery all about?
I’m so glad you asked…let’s set the scene:
It is Christmas time in Austin and 6th Street is decked out in holiday cheer.
The nights are cold but the bars are warm refuges for all kinds of characters.
Whether you’re coming in to get a drink, take a break or find a friend, Ralph, the bartender will welcome you with a nod and sage advice.
Just remember…
the front door opens for anyone.
So welcome into Temptation, you never know whom you will meet.
